To partner with the diverse elements of Cumberland county in a united substance abuse prevention effort designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build character and resiliency resulting in drug-free children, youth, and adults.
Purpose
- To partner with diverse elements of the community in a united substance prevention effort.
- To establish a network of community members and agencies to implement prevention strategies in their own sphere of influence.
- To address substance abuse risk factors and help sustain and enhance protective factors.
- To build a youth coalition that will engage the young people of the community.
- To bring the community together in identifying and addressing social issues that weaken the ” community.
