Children and Teens

We have the following programming and activities we hold for children and teens

IN DEPTH

The American Lung Association’s Intervention for Nicotine Dependence: Education, Prevention, Tobacco and Health (INDEPTH) program is designed to help schools and communities tackle the growing issue of teen vaping. It provides a comprehensive, supportive approach to prevent and reduce nicotine dependence among adolescents. The program offers resources and strategies to educate students, families, and communities about the dangers of vaping, raises awareness about nicotine addiction, and encourages healthy behaviors. By combining education with practical prevention techniques, the INDEPTH program aims to curb the rising rates of vaping among teens and promote healthier lifestyles.

Cumberland Prevention Coalition hosts this program monthly to 6th to 12th grade students for free. In order to participates, parents are encouraged to call us at our phone number at 931-210-0384.

Trailblazers

Trail blazers is an evidence-based curriculum designed to help students develop essential communication and relationship skills. By equipping them with the tools to navigate difficult situations, make positive choices, and reach their full potential, Trail Blazers prepares students for success—both in school and in life.

As we work to bring Trail Blazers to more locations, we’re looking for new partners—whether schools, community centers, or other youth-focused agencies—who are interested in implementing this transformative program.

Are you ready to make a lasting impact on the students and young people in your community?
Let’s work together to equip the next generation with the skills they need to succeed. Contact us today to learn how you can bring Trail Blazers to your organization or school!
