Older adults have a higher chance of being prescribed opioids due to pain management. This program is aimed to provide education on opioid prescribed medications, equip older adults with tools to utilize these medications safely if they are needed, and to empower this population to ask questions and seek alternatives if necessary. Our goal is to prevent overdoses in our community.
With this program, we provide free educational presentations derived from the SAFE-Home Opioid Management Education study. We provide free educational publications. We offer an array of free items such as lock boxes, medication logs, and deterra.
